All students are encouraged to participate in and enjoy sport. Most sports have regular weekly competitions (organised by College Sport Wellington) and others have opportunities to play in one-off Local or regional Tournaments.

Students are required to register for sport and obtain parental permission to play in a school team. You will find the Registration Form on the right hand side of this page. For 2021 we have a separate form for those wishing to register for Rugby.

Students in sports teams are encouraged to join the Heretaunga Sports Facebook Group. This is a closed group (so you must request to join) online notice board where permission forms / draws and results and general news is shared.
This is time to recognise the sporting achievements at Heretaunga College which is held annually at the end of October / early November.
