How to Enrol

Online Enrolment

Welcome to our online enrolment form for Heretaunga College. We accept students from Years 9 to 13.

Follow the steps below to complete an enrolment

  • Attach a copy of your child’s Birth Certificate or Passport (this can be downloaded onto the Online Enrolment Form or emailed to info@heretaunga.school.nz (ensure you put your child’s name in the email).

  • Attach the correct proof of address evidence. We will only accept the following evidence of residence in zone: A recent (less than two months old) electricity bill for an in-zone property indicating residents of at least one month in the name(s) of the Parent or Legal Guardian of the applicant.

Enrolment Scheme - Home Zone

As from Monday 19 March 2018, Heretaunga College adopted an enrolment scheme. Details of the current home zone can be found here.

The deadline for receipt of 2025 academic year applications for out-of-zone enrolments are:

  • Out of Zone Applications for Year 9 2025 will NOT be accepted after Monday 29th July 2024, 4pm.

  • Out of Zone Applications for Year 10 and Year 12 2025 will NOT be accepted after Monday 21st October 2024, 4pm. 

We will NOT be accepting any out-of-zone enrolments for Year 11 and Year 13 for 2025.

Enrolment packs for Year 8 students will be available at the beginning of June 2024.

Please call into Heretaunga College school office for an Enrolment Pack or email info@heretaunga.school.nz. Please include your name and postal address.

Students at Fergusson and Maidstone Intermediates – enrolment packs will be available for collection after 30 June 2024 from their school office. Enrolment packs will be delivered to St Joseph's and St Brendans school offices.

Once the Online Enrolment has been completed, a family interview will be booked with the Principal and Year Level Kaitiaki Dean.
