Hard Materials Technology Teacher

Permanent, Full-Time

Position to Commence: 28 January 2022

We are a dynamic, multicultural school in Upper Hutt, seeking a Hard Materials Technology teacher, to work within our busy department, with the ability to teach all levels of the curriculum.

The ideal candidate will be a well-qualified enthusiastic teacher who has excellent classroom management skills and embedded IT in their teaching practice, joining an innovative and successful Technology department.

Applicants must hold a current NZ practising Certificate.  Experience in teaching the NZ Curriculum is essential.  When applying, please state your specialist area.

Position to Commence: 28 January 2022

 An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and relational educational leader to join our innovative and inclusive Year 9-13 coeducational college of 850 students.  We have a highly collaborative, motivated and supportive staff and community.

This leadership role is to continue to ensure that all students at Heretaunga College experience an inclusive education, that all students have the programmes and support to meet their pastoral, social and academic needs, ensuring presence, participation and progress.

The ideal candidate will have a strong belief in and experience of the effectiveness of restorative practices.  Experience in teaching the NZ Curriculum is essential.  Applicants must hold a current NZ practising certificate.
